Mantis Audiogram
Mantis Audiogram is an experimental music and art project finding expression through the use of new music and art technologies.
The mantis has an exceptional range of hearing from 2Hz to over 130KHz (well beyond human limits of 20Hz to 20Khz) through a single ear located in the middle of the thorax, near the heart.
In a similar way, Mantis Audiogram set out to conceptually explore beyond the outer boundaries of our daily human perception, capturing esoteric ideas and feelings and bringing them back to us in an accessible way to get your antennae twitching, your heart moving and your feet tapping.
Mantis Audiogram has been making music since the 1990s. Many of our recent songs do use AI as a part of the creation process, but every song features significant human input (because we think that's extremely important).
We use tools like Suno as session musicians to play the songs that we conceive, write, compose and produce. Some songs are remixes by Suno of our recordings created by older methods.
We believe it’s important that all creators are 100% transparent about their use of AI.
